Press on

I iron everything. And, when I say everything, I mean everything: t-shirts, shorts and even tissue paper. So, when my husband dropped the iron during a rare moment of pressing clothes when I was busy elsewhere, the search was on for the perfect iron. Years ago, my mother introduced me to Rowenta and I have never looked back. While others ask for jewels for their birthday, I beg for household items. This year, my mother found an even better iron than my last one: the Rowenta Advancer. The iron feels light, unlike my last one and glides over the fabric. I am pleased with the amount of steam generated with the iron because I press a great deal of cotton. Available from Linens ‘n Things for $129.99. Worth every penny.

What a wonderful site! You make me smile. Thanks for telling others about my book The Coach's Wife and my husband's book Coaching By The Book.

My real purpose in writing is to tell of our kinship in ironing. No I don't iron everything, just pillowcases, jeans from the clothesline, and t-shirts. My favorite iron is the Simplicity Quik Press. Easy on your shoulder, a large surface, and it makes you feel professional (while performing that thankless chore). I purchased mine from Target.com. Also worth every penny to me!

Thank you so much for commenting. You have no idea how many times I have leaned on your book and the message you sent to get through many a day. You have helped so many women with the words you put onto paper. You were brave to put yourself out there. Thank you for commenting.
I will try that iron next time, this one goes on the fritz. I will have to admit that I have never ironed a pillowcase. But there's always another load of laundry coming out of the dryer.
    Be blessed.
